Two years ago, I wondered about the emotions many of us were feeling during the pandemic. However, recently, I felt like now was the time to write about it.

It was such a difficult time for many. According to Google, people expressed they felt some of the following emotions:

  1. Loneliness
  2. Burn out from work
  3. Unproductive
  4. Hopeless
  5. Anxiety
  6. Depression
  7. Anger

Relationships have been broken, jobs have been lost, there is so much chaos.

In a very quick instance our lives were changed. Some of my conversations with family and friends went, “Some mornings I wake up and I am immediately reminded that life is not as it was just a few months ago. I feel like I’m in a dream”.

We would also talk about how they needed to find someone to talk to about their feelings while going through these times. We instantly had to change the way we live; and, took for granted how easy it was to purchase the necessary products we kept in our homes. We could not go to restaurants, the gym, take our children to school or visit family, friends and church.

We have started to progress and learn to live a different type of normal.

And, we have God to lean on. Scriptures says “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans‬ ‭8:31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We must find a PEACE to get through it all. Where have you found your PEACE today?  I hope this message helps. We have a Father who is here for us, who listens to us and who will carry us.

“Great PEACE have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.” Psalms‬ ‭119:165‬ ‭
